Applying a 'Logo Texture' to a round billboard.

Hello Again..

I am trying to texture map a Logo/Crest/Image onto a round element..

Right now I trying to place it on a cylinder object which is rotated to look like and O Front on to the Elevation. But am not being very successful in my attempts as the texture seems to be obscuring despite being on the flat face of the cylinder..

I have created a new texture with the image and am then using the Offset Class to move it around with S and T Co-ordinates..

Is the a circular billboard that exists or a easy way to do this?

So I am trying to place a material to sit centre on a round flat vertical signage element.. which is then place flat on a wall..

Sorry if this is confusing!

Here is an example of what I am trying to do..

There are 7 separate locations where i need to place the same sign.. I have kept all a consistent size excluding to that are a scale down versions..

Hopefully that may make my description a little easier to decipher..

Create Alpha channel in the image of the logo (a white circle in a black square).
Use the of library part "Picture".

Or you could use the billboard function of ArchiFacade

Or you could render in Artlantis ... do yourself a favour and try it!

Thank you every one!

Do myself a favour and try Artlantis? .. i specifically need this applied for a flythrough animation.. I have just been adding it in photoshop for stills..

Does Artlantis do both now? (back when i had it it was just for single shots)

Thanks again all for showing an interest! you are all a great help!

There are now 2 versions of Artlantis:

Artlantis R just does still shots whereas Artlantis Studio does flythroughs, VRs etc...

Studio is a bit more expensive.

If you are applying alot of graphics to things, I find it way easier + quicker than using lightworks.

Or get your hands on one of the previous Artlantis (version 4._ something I believe) and have the best of both worlds....stills and fly-throughs
too bad we cant save to older Artlantis file formats....I'm sure there's a workaround though.
