I've exported an archicad file into Maxwell studio. The backgrounds (I've tried both sky system and HDRI lights) both show fine in the studio environment, but once I start rendering, the background is just solid black.
Other elements of the scene look fine, so it's not a camera exposure issue. I was able to import my scene into a new maxwell studio file and then the background showed fine - it just seemed to be an issue in the original exported file...
Any ideas why this might be happening?
Cheers,
Derek

hi!
the first thing to check is if the alpha channel is enabled in the rendering options, if so uncheck it
if the issue remains try this
open your background map in "maxwell renderer" application, save it as mxi from there. and put it in the background slot.
(your background is an hdri or a jpg ?!)
