Can anybody tell me how to keep my background image in the background? It seems whenever I use one of my own pictures I've taken as a background I can see it coming through my photo-rendered projection. thanks!

What do you mean by "coming through" your rendering? Do you mean it's visible through windows? Or it's overpowering walls, roofs, and other solid objects?

Its been a while since I had a similar problem and i can't remember how, or if, I ever fully resolved what to do about it...maybe this related thread will give you some answers.

It seems that if you have a reflective surface (a window for example) with nothing to reflect in it, the background will act as the reflection, even if you have solid surfaces behind the window.

thanks for all your help, guys... yes, I can see my jpeg through the windows even when there's a solid surface behind it, and, I can see the background image in my swimming pool. I will try unchecking the "use alpha channel" box and see what happens or saving it as a tiff in photoshop. Again, thanks!
