License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

CineRender Roof Standing Seam

Have a couple of days to start learning the new CineRender so I'll probably have a few of these.
I am trying to create a new Standing Seam Roof surface. When I look at it in the library it shows this nice standing seam in the middle of the rendering ball. When I select it the seam disappears and I get the round ball only and a flat roof in my rendering. How do I get the seams to show? When I select the corrugated roof that pattern remains as shown even though it is way too shiny.

Eduardo, Thank you very much, that works.
So based on this and the previous adjustments it seems I am being told that the ArchiCAD presets that are supposed to make my life easier and make it so I don't have to monkey around with settings don't actually work. How can a company make this the focal point of there marketing and issue it in a non functioning fashion. Especially when a couple of setting changes are all it takes to fix. This last week has shaken my faith in Graphisoft.
This includes the standing seam roof issue since they have included that material in a non functioning way. I would accept this as an exception because the other materials I have tried seem to work but when you add the rendering issues this is a serious problem.
And a bigger problem would seem to be that based on the boards no one is actually using it because there should be more comments. I can't be the only one struggling.

No problem, though I disagree with your conclusion.

Those base settings are very good but since I have used C4D for the last 10 years I know what to tweak to get different results.

Your case was more specific than most since you asked an "advanced question" and we went down a rabbit hole trying to figure it out, other users might not have seen that problem.

You are not the only one struggling with this mate.....I share your frustration !!

I have spent the best part of a day resolving something that should only take 10 minutes. Expensive $ which are unrecoverable.
