Edit elements in an .lcf file

How does one access the elements in a .lcf file to copy or edit them?  I would like to edit the color of a surface texture.

Invoke the Extract a Container, edit the part(s) you need and then use the Create a Container to rebundle them.

If the .lcf file is part of the Archicad package, be sure to make a backup copy as your changes will not survive a Hotfix application.
