Hello, everyone
I hope this tip can help import files from Archicad 25 to Twinmotion using the Datasmith Direct Link.
1 - In Twinmotion choose Import > Import Direct Link > Your Source > Archicad Project
2 - In Archicad goes to Windows > Palletes > Datasmith to synchronize the file.
That's it 😉

Hi,
I ran into a massive problem here. Syncing works until I close down one or both programs and restart. Then Twinmotion will automatically reset all the textures back to Archicad materials. Quite frustrating...do you know how to prevent this with the direct link?

Basically, do not use Direct Links (or Datasmith) at all. With the lack of FBX, I feel the best method is to save as a SketchUp file, then import. Future revisions should be resaved to SKP and then refreshed in Twinmotion.

Hello,
I have a problem with the synchronization between Archicad 25 and Twinmotion 2021.
The synchronization between the two programs has not worked for a week. When opening the udatasmith file and checking "import direct link", "Your source", Archicad does not appear, you cannot choose any option either.
Attached photos.
Can you help me?

I have both AC25 POL version and AC25 INT version installed. After installing Datasmith plugin, it only displayed in AC25 INT vesrsion. Is there any option to choose target folder before instaling Datasmith ?

I've been trying for so long to sync AC25 / TM and make it work, but every time it fails. The best advice for you not to lose time and save it as SketchUp. It saves a pretty accurate model without texture distortions and go from there.
I hope it saves a little of your valuable time.

Don't use DriectLink. Do a simple import. This way works best!

Agreed, although I've been having some rather good luck with the datasmith sync.
