Polygon Corners ROUNDING?

I am working on a model in 12. There are several forms that have essentially a BULGING wall connecting to a straight wall where the corner wants to show as ROUNDED instead of sharp?

Did I miss something? There seems to be no way to UN round it?

.... they are rounding only in 3d window openGL mode. Probably in RENDERING also, just haven't checked there yet.

PS Since you have GarageBand in your sig and I know you do keyboard... I picked up an 88 weighted key M-audio keyboard for under $200 that works great with GB. What are you using?

Any chance you have a slab with rounded corners sitting below those walls?

Pretty sure you get the same effect on column corners in OpenGL at times. I think it renders o.k. though.

bugger.... I've been pretty successful showing clients OpenGL walkthru's during the design process...

This didn't happen in 11

To minimize rounding consider:

make surface duller.
turn off smoothing.
turn off highlights.

Thanks Dwight.... It's definitely the SMOOTHING button.. Unfortunately it really shows SEGMENTED along the curves that I want smooth...

So leave an RCH at the intersection and it will return square.
