I recently stumbled upon this software:

http://graphics.smithmicro.com/article/articleview/1785/1/752?sbss=752

It states on their website that it integrates with ArchiCAD. Has anybody seen or used this software before?

The gallery examples look rather impressive, especially the light effects.

I would be interested to know what people think. For those who may have tried it, is it well integrated with AC? What is the learning curve like etc.

Thanks Djorde,

With the Art.Lantis site being up and down lately I was unable to look for a new plug-in. However I have a suspicion that the problems that I am having may go deeper than the plug-in. I have solved most of the smaller issues regarding lighting transfer etc. However, the "Catalogue" window is a constant problem. I do not know why it will not allow resizing. It is very testing.

It might be your video card. I had multiple crashes and problems during the beta test of 2, that went away with the installation of the latest drivers. Then again, I am on ATI, so that might me related.

Abvent web site has also the link to report problems, and bugs, so please do it. Alain Picard of Abvent is also a member here, and I will alert him to your problem.

Many thanks again Djorde,

I must point out that I am only using the demo of version 2. I have no problems what so ever with my student version of 1.2. I love it! That is probably why I was so annoyed at the problems with 2. The main issue of the "Catalogue" window is all that is left so solve so I doubt it could be a graphics card issue. I run XP in "Classic" mode and have even tried to switch as suggested by the program, but this did not solve the issue. I will continue to use 1.2 for now and try the demo again when the new plug-in is released.

I suddenly ran into the catalog window dominating the screen too a couple of weeks ago. I did a search on the net and found I had to delete some items in the windows registry to fix it. I can't rember what it was tho. (Windows XP pro.)

A student of mine asked it just last week. He had the answer, but did not understand what to do with it.
