Hello Graphisoft Teams,
I would like to know if there are any development plans regarding the Redshift rendering engine, because it seems to me, unfortunately a practice that is becoming customary in the development of Archicad, that it is a feature added at a certain point in the life of the program(If I'm not wrong with AC 25 Update 2, and only available for SSA users) and never updated again.
In the specific case of Redshift, as with all GPU-based rendering engines, I believe it is essential that the software follows the evolution of the hardware, in fact the version present in Archicad (which I believe is 22.008) is not compatible, on Windows platform, with NVIDIA cards of the 5000 series (and I believe not even with AMD cards from the RDNA2 series, but I have no way to test).
So my question is, are there any plans to update and support Redshift (which is a great rendering engine), or will it become the usual half-developed ArchiCAD feature(as Param-O, Ecodesigner Star...........an so on)?
Operating system used: Windows 11 24H2

I would LOVE to know the answer to this since I am on windows 11 with and RTX5090 and cannot get redshift to work lol. Says my hardware does not support it...
ITS AN RTX 5090

Can you show the exact error message displayed when you try to use ther Redshift Engine in Archicad?
Sunday
Do you have a current subscription?
From the help manual...
Barry.

Hello,
to reply to @Laszlo Nagy
this is the error message,
for @Barry Kelly, I'm on Archicad Collaborate subscription plan, but as you pointed in the help manual page(Archicad 29 Help) is clear that the version of RedShift is based on the outdated Cineware 23 of Maxon(released on sept 2020), and the Blackwell cards(NVIDIA 5000) support starts from redshift 2025.5.0 released in June 2025(Redshift Doesn't Recognize my 5000+ series GPU (Experimental Support for NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs) – Kn...), so the question(about which the Archicad developers seem completely uninterested in answering🤣🤣) remain the same, is are there any plan to update Redshift?
@SeanW DesignBuild I honestly wouldn't be holding my breath, Red Shift on Archicad seems quite abandoned, or at most a marketing gimmick(I prefer to invest time on solid products as Twinmotion, or D5 Render)

Yeah I think we are going to stick with Twinmotion + AI rendering for quick renders if needed. It seems like Archicad is taking a more angry approach to their customers. It is funny though, I grew up using it. My dad has been a user since like version 4 a long time ago.
Seems weird you buy software then have to have more and more subscriptions to keep using it. Its like, didn't I just buy this?
