Urban Site Sections

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi,

Im currently doing a site model / section in archicad, however I have built the surrounding buildings using the wall and roof tool, when I section it, it looks rough, the "block" buildings surrounding my site look a little shoddy, because they are just hollow shells, that haven't been drawn that accurately.

I am a student, and I am wondering if any more experienced users have any examples or links to examples of good quality contextual urban site sections. Or any tips or tricks on how to show surrounding buildings in 2d.

Thanks in advance.

You might post an image of what you are after and we could suggest how you can do it? Do you want more detail for your blocky buildings? Or are you after a shaded poche? Is this to be photoreal? Or sketchy schematic? Or ultra-spare, clean schematic - more of a graphic design exercise? Why not just a linear gradient masking fill? Is it colur? Or B&W?
