VR

I'm having troubles creating a virtual reality of a small building. It comes out like this: (see image below)

I'm using ArchiCAD SE. Quicktime 6.5.1. Win XP Home. AMD Athlon XP 2500+. Excalibur Radeon 9200SE 128MB graphics card. 1.5 GB RAM.

The VR settings are: 6 parallels, 60 medians, VR of 3d model (not photorendering), image compression set to Cinepak (as recommended by GS in the Step by Step tutorial.)

I can create the VR fine, but when I view it, it just comes out garbled.

Any thoughts?

Try saving the VR with no compression.

Are you able to view the VR on a different PC/Mac machine?

You may also want to update your QT to 7+.

Did you use a very high resolution? Try to generate a test movie with low image dimensions (e.g. 320x240 pixels).
