how to find exactly how far the sun rays enter the house...

hey.,



can anybody help me in getting archicad showing me exactly how far the sun's rays enter the openings in my house? (at different times of the day)?


I need to see whether my eaves are doing their bit for sustainability by letting in winter sun and blocking summer sun
