open gl views saved and placed on a layout?

Hello,

Just wondering why renderings placed on a layout are so cartoon like?
Low resolution to say the least.
When I place them on the layout they come in a bit larger than needed to place eight or ten views on my layout size, in my case 36" x 48" Arch E, so I end up resizing them anywhere from 60% to 75% the original placed size. If things were to go as one might expect the resized images would be higher resolution after making them smaller. Not the case, in fact they are very low resolution before and after the resizing, even after resizing them to 25% the original placed size.

Is there any way to get better resolution on placed views from the open gl window to a layout?

Best,

Jon

Hi Karl,
Thanks I will give it a try. I didn't know you could save
the photorender output to a layout. Sounds like with
8 images on a layout it will be a long update time,
UGH.... OR, as I fear, no update. Not sure which is worse:-)

Best,
Jon
