render shadow issue

i dont usually render with archicad, usually use artlantis.
but have been playing around this morning with lightworks and rendering.
so the problem is that i have done a simple model,with a roof and then used roof maker to do the trusses etc.
then on top of that i have used cadimage roof tool to add some details etc etc.
now, there are no timber trusses,rafters etc showing extruding from any where in the model, all are hidded by sofit, facia etc.
so why in lightworks am i getting this?

does lightworks not recognise cadimage?

Is there a setting in the Cadimage objects to allow them to cast shadows?
It seems they are being ignored at the moment.

I don't use the Cadimage roof accessories but I do have it so I went looking.
In the Appearance section > 3D Pens there is a check box to cast shadows.
That should do it.

Off-topic: It is amazing to me that you know that song.
(if you mean that song I mean: it is about people along the Volga river pulling boats up river.)
Me, it is a different thing: this was one of the songs that we had to learn in primary school in the early 80s. So no wonder I know it.
