License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. Any suggestions how best to model upward spray water fountain from a flat surface pool? Use a picture of one and stick it in there somehow? Got an easy way to do it? Figure tool, but how can I put it in the rendering?

You need object Parapict to place an image in space.

or Frank Chin's animated Water Fountain if it can be found.

Perhaps a birdie will drop those off for you.

It was saved in ArchiCAD 6.0. I've saved it in 6.5 and 10 for anyone interested but I don't know how to post a download. I can e-mail it to someone w/ more posting knowledge, just let me know.

It came in at a very large scale...needs to be resized, and the materials have to be set. It is editable to number of droplets, etc., very nice.

Also, if Frank Chin's fountain is available to the public, shouldn't it be in the Free Objects Library.

    Wow, that old?
Save it as a zip and then attach it.

    And, yes, it was freeware.

    Nick,
You're right, once in AC10 it is agonizingly slow to select from the libraries and place. I started over with the original object and through 9 it loads and places in normal amount of time.

I don't know what about 10 slows it down so much. I'll ask over in the GDL section.
