Ability to open palettes from the Quick Options bar

The Quick Options bar has buttons for opening the Options windows for

• Layers
• Renovation Status and
• Design Options

These functions also have a dedicated palette/toolbar, that needs to be opened via Window - Palettes, despite being much more frequently needed.

Could the Quick Options bar buttons to open the Options windows double as a way to open the appropriate palette?

This could be a right click context menu, or a sub menu (as the tool palette has for Favorites), a long press, or whatever works best.

Also, the Options windows, and the palettes, themselves should have a button to open the corresponding palette/Options window, as the Design Options palette now already has.

Each panel of both the Quick Options Bar and the Quick Options Palette has an icon on its left, and clicking it will open the corresponding Dialog, so this wish is already fulfilled.

I don't think it is fulfilled. Let me explain myself better.

What you are referring to as 'icon on its left, and clicking it will open the corresponding Dialog,' is the same as I am saying by 'buttons [with the icon] for opening the Options windows'.

The issue is not accessing the Options window/dialog.

I am referring to opening the actual palettes for these functionalities, which are needed much more often.

[Now of course, a user could be expected to dock the palettes they want permanently on their preferred Work Environment, or build a custom toolbar or shortcut keys where they have these palettes on 'speed dial'. But things move around and change, not all users are friendly with building toolbars anbd work environments, and some still have smaller displays, and particularly in the case of Design Options, it is probably not something users need to always have open.]

My proposal is to be able to access the palette with the same ease as the dialog - probably with the same button/icon, then.
How exactly, I don't care, maybe through a context menu, or even by having the more often needed palette as the default option, and the more rarely used dialog as the context menu option (big change, I know).

- On a side note, the Palettes menu needs a rework - with just a few addons installed, my menu has about 50 items, which makes it unusable in practice.
