Custom Door Leaf list

when using custom door leafs, the door settings should list them alpha-numerically, not in order they were saved. This is from a cadimage door, but all doors seem to just throw a list at us; and as you can see from this sample, our projects often require a LOT of custom leafs/sashes!

Thanks for the wish. If this was always alphabetical (likely in all locations where these custom lists are used), then this may make it harder to find the most recent added item. I'd expect this would make having things correctly named more important (which isn't a bad thing).

What about the mindblowing option of being able to sort alphabetically or by creation date or other usual sorting options… if only anyone had ever invented something like this before…

Can you also share examples of your similar custom lists? How many items do you generally have? For custom door leafs only or other GDL locations?

TBH, they should be a library selection, not a text option; so that we could attach a thumbnail to the component and view what it actually looks like, locate them in the folder(s) they live in, etc.

To @James B's point, naming conventions are critical, especially since components like door leafs and window sashes are not truly parametric, we have to name them by the size they were created at in order to select the correct leaf for each size of door.
But there is plenty of room to improve this. It's actually pretty rare, IME, to need to select the most recent leaf (unless it is truly the leaf I need now that I just created). Most of the time, I'm looking for that cryptically named door leaf that I made last week/month/etc.

if all else fails, mabye a UI (or w/e?) command to determine order/organization of components, by time created or alpha-numerically?
