Project Info - Revamp

The project info is very limited in its layout.

It is good that we are able to have custom project info text but being unable to delete or rename the default entries is very limiting.

The project info also reorders the custom text which causes confusion when trying to find the correct entry from a large list.

I see a forum post from 2022 that says that this was in the Wishlist database at that point in time but cant see anything for it now.

1. I would appreciate the ability to organize the rows containing information (up and down).

2. It would be desirable to have a fully customizable section.

3 to be enable linking a specific result from a table to any field.

Please make it so it's possible to reorder project info fields so we can create new fields, new sub headings and be able to reorder them, not have them only in the order in which they were created.

Hello Mark and Patrick, I guess the main problem here is actually that we cannot use the apartments for calculations in the Property Manager. Putting this whole thing into Info doesn't make much sense. As a work around you could add a property to classify your apartments and calculate the areas together.
I set a Wish to enable this under the apartment-ID: https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Wunschliste/Einheitennummer-als-Eigenschaft-f%C3%BCr-Stellplatzb...

Only my goal was another one, but still you could use this for yours.

If you click on the site details header, it will reorganize the whole list in alphabetical order, rather than by date of creation.

It however doesn't always retain that information, after closing the program though.

@jakelinerosa - I use the auto-text function to link information from project info into text in various notes  on various layouts, but maybe it could be done with Properties i suppose - will give it a go, thanks for the suggestion.

The downfall with the properties method is that they all have to be linked back to something in the model.  For us, some things never get modeled in details, and are just 2D Linework/fills, that don't have access to the properties... Properties work great if everything gets fully modeled though!

That is why all of our typical notes that get used dozens of times lived in the Project info palette.

I have since shifted all these notes to live within the keynotes palette in AC29.
