openings connected to wall

If you have a wall with windows, doors, and openings and copy + paste it only comes with windows and doors 

You have to select the openings together with the wall when doing copy in order to have in the new copy.

Please make the openings connected to the wall so we don't need to select them to have them in a copy

I think it has something to do with the fact that openings can be associated to many other walls and other elements, although they can be pinned to only one.

Maybe @James B can explain the reason and decide if this should remain an open wish?

We can reconsider past decisions and existing behaviours. I'm not sure if there was a technical reason though.

As I see there are some other usability improvements that could also be made in this area, like the opening selects after the host is edited and you use undo, probably the opening shouldn't be selected in this case. Also, the opening does not move with the marquee as other element types do. These topics may be related.
