Thanks @Marcell Hillier, I'm particularly keen to test the "User Document Upload/ Information Retrieval" in Coming Soon to compare vs our daily Compliance workflow in Gemini's Gems and I'm sure this will be further enhanced by the "Compliance Checker" & "Web based/ Mobile access" & "Multi-modal Information Retrieval" in Under Research.
Also diving into the Under Research items for discussion here. The AI Visualizer 3.0 & Video improvements will keep pushing outputs closer to our needs for sure. I'm curious to see how "Multi-modal Information Retrieval" connects with "Design Suggestions" & perhaps even the Visualizer. I was not expecting workflow Generation of Layouts, Dimension & Labels so soon, exciting prospects coming.
Tell me more about the "MCP Support"? The practical meaning & use cases for this function is not very obvious by the description.

well, everything seems to be getting more intelligent thats for sure.

[...] boost your productivity with every session.
I'd take just merely 10 items (guaranteed more of a productivity boost!) of this list instead of any AI feature whatsoever everyday – my boss already looks over my shoulder so I have no need for AC-clippy to do the same, thanks.
But I understand. There is always something more fancy and shiny that wants to be fetched 😉 Fixing the missing 20% is hard work and not sexy at all. Necessary, but not appealing.
I can see some value in automatic dimensioning, and maybe in labeling, tho. But I can not really imagine you pulling it off, so it actually becomes a time saver and not another time waster.
The much bigger question in the broader view is yet totally different as well: Are these features (and let's be honest, they will come, not any of the 20%ers) to be meant to be run on our devices or not? With the "Right to Compute" movement gaining traction the upcoming regulations on AI it will be hard anyway to "walled-garden-it" away to your servers.

Let me chime in here a bit:
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a sort of “USB-C port for AI applications,” which means that it standardizes how tools (e.g., BIM applications) and data plug into AI LLMs (Artificial Intelligence Large Language Models, like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok) This way, any MCP-compliant LLM can work/control/operate any MCP-compliant tool.
A few Archicad users have already started experimenting with the use of MCP to create Archicad-LLM integrations. I found two examples:

Thanks for explaining "MCP" so clearly & the examples you linked @Laszlo Nagy . It makes sense now and judged by the examples, the possibilities looks Gr8!

Hi Laszlo
Thank you for the clear explanation about MCP.
I’m a Japanese Archicad user, and I’d like to share my experience related to this topic.
I am a Japanese Archicad user, and after seeing the links you shared, I also tried creating an experimental “Claude × Notion × Archicad” workflow.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3jVaR2au7Q
Similar to the examples, I used the Tapir add-on to build a pseudo-MCP environment, where Claude can extract zone information from the Archicad model and write it into Notion.
In Japan, I also know several cases where people are experimenting with using Cursor as MCP hosts.
Recently, even some government-related digital services in Japan have started adopting MCP, which shows how rapidly this ecosystem is expanding.
“MCP-Centered Workflow Architecture for BIM and AI Integration”
Because of this momentum, I strongly believe that MCP support will revolutionize the workflow between BIM applications, external systems, and AI agents.
I saw the MCP item on the Archicad roadmap.
May I ask whether Graphisoft is aiming to support both MCP Host and MCP Server roles?
English may sound a bit strange since I used AI translation—my apologies if the nuance is off.

Thanks for this example.
I cannot say anything about the Roadmap, as I am not part of that team.
I just posted this info about MCP to answer a question.
