AC generated DWG import lockup

I have one consultant who wants his pens in a certain way, so normally what I do is export a dwg and then open it up in AC, change the pens and send it on its merry way. Yesterday, I ran across a dwg that I exported that I could not open back up. Used the same translator for import and export. It locks up AC with the "spinning beachball of doom" and I have to force quit to get out of it. It's only 250KB.

Curious thing: I exported an RCP and was able to open it fine. The power plan from the same document causes the crash. Another question... why does a 30MB AC file export to a svelte 250KB dwg?

Can you open it ok using an “out of the box” Archicad 9 installation (1812 INT FULL)?
