This Archicad layout includes a number of cropped views. The views do not have frames, but the DWG translator introduces black lines which the recipient is unable to edit out:

Is this a translator setting issue?

Hi Robson,

In your first image, it looks like there's a dotted line around the drawings. This might be caused by the Print/Plot Frame option being enabled in the Drawing Preferences. If that's the case, a simple fix would be to turn it off.

However, if you need to keep it on, you'll have to adjust the DWG Translator settings to map this type of line to a corresponding line style in AutoCAD. Graphisoft has some guides on how to configure this—I’d recommend linking your AutoCAD template if you have one.

Hope this helps! 🙂
