Hi all,
I am exporting my floor plans as .dwgs with Objects Converted to Blocks with each floor plan being exported as a seperate file. For my multi storey buildings I would like to have the floorplans collated into a single file but since there appears to be no internal way to do this, I figured I would just be able to copy paste the contents across. The issue is that when I do this my dimensions break. Upon further inspection, it would appear that my dimensions will break if there is any sort of modification to them... Might have been fixed in more recent AC versions...

Hi @Lingwisyer,
I use ACAD 2024 for my workflow and really, it's working well, sure you can publish Archicad floor plans into a single ACAD file as follows,
*** These are dimensions in ACAD Model View,
*** These are dimensions in ACAD Layout View,
*** Dimensions can be modified in ACAD Model View,
*** Modifications are reflected in ACAD Layout View,

Thanks Mahmoud. Would appear to be an update to the translator in newer versions of AC.

Yes it seems an update from the two sides (AutoCAD & Archicad) as really I used Auto 2018 to open the same (.dwg) file exported from Archi 27, and the result was not satisfying.

I do it this way so I wrote a lisp routine that modifies all the dimensions once collated.
Seems to work well. I didn't notice until one of the engineering firms I work with complained lol.
I also set up a keyboard key so I can specify the number of files open in AutoCAD hit a button and watch as it collates for me. Pretty easy to do too.
