Fence object as parametric object

JEMagnussen

Hi,

Can anybody assit or guide me in creating a parametric object, similar to the attached (parametric Sketchup model) of a construction fence that will follow a line on an uneven terrain surface?

I used Profile Builder 3 to create a profile and somehow managed to have it follow a path on a terrain, but not very good result and want to try and create a similar object in Archicad 25.

We make a lot of Site Layout plans in 3D (see image7) and its really the fence that's the most time-consuming to place.

Would Param-O be a possible way forward?

Best regards

Jesper

Have you tried the railing tool? You may even be able to create the support feet as custom posts.

ArchiCAD since 8.0, currently on 22, waiting on 26, maybe...

Hi,

Haven't really worked much with the railing tool, only used predefined railings, but it might be a solution.
