GSM LIBRARY PARTS and export to ArtlantisR

I am working on a large housing project, which needs rendering urgently by Artlantis 1.1. The job is large and Artlantis won’t open the export file from Archicad 10. It said it is probably corrupt. There are 32no units on this file with 5 types. I saved all types as object library parts (gsm files) and inserted into one site layout. I tried saving the site layout as an archive file to reduce the size, removing extra detail etc, but it still will not open. Is there any other way of saving house models and inserting into one archicad 10 file? I think the problem lies with saving each house type as library parts. I do the following: view model in 3d (roof view), then go to, file, libraries & objects, save as 3d model as. I give each house type a name and save as a GSM file. This file is now a library part. I do this to all house types and inset in a separate site layout file & export to an artlatis file in 3d (per) view.

Try with Modules. An excellent tip session is on right now at http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=12786

Check your objects in Archicad before you export. Turn on the 3D Report window and check for any problems.

Also, if you want to reduce the file size, save as MOD - Module. It will strip it of everything not used.

And, for Artlantis related questions, the best place to ask is http://www.artlantis.com/support/forum/
