How do we get a correct area of walls in AC schedule?

Hi
Because of many different result of wall area calculation in AC schedule i am now making an experience to analyze the results i get.
I made som 10m thick and 3m high round walls.
If you calculate the outside area of the "building" you will get 3400.758m2.
However this result never shows upp in the schedule list.
my explanation is that since AC don't know what is in and out it will always calculate the biggest area of the independent walls and sum them upp.

My question is if there is a possibility of making AC calculate the area of walls on the reference line? That will solve the problem.

Yes you just need to choose the correct parameter in the schedule field list.
Gross area does not take into account openings or Solid Element Operations.
Net area and Conditional area do allow for opening - I can't remember the difference between them - maybe one doesn't allow for SEO but the other does.

This changes a bit in 17 as when you use the Priority Based Connections.
The end surface area of a wall will not be included in the surface area of an adjoining wall if it is trimmed by a PBC.
I am not happy with wall areas in 17.
