Is it possible to force DWG Fills & Line types to go to bottom of list like with layers? It is very annoying to find them mixing with our standard ones. (like pre fixing their name with a Z)
Thanks,
Joseph

Fills are displayed alphabetically, and Line Types are displayed numerically by their index #. They are also displayed in two categories: simple types first, followed by symbolic.

Regarding line types, if your template has fills with consecutive indexes (1 thru 30 all inclusive, for instance), then new line types will be added to the bottom of the list. Fills will always be alphabetical (so you could name all your standard fills with an underscore (i.e. _Brick Common), forcing them to the top of the list).
Unless anyone has any better ideas...

If you do not need to alter the layer combinations of the DWG file you can just drag an drop the file on the plan. This method doesn't bring any DWG attributes with it. In addition the DWG is linked so it can be updated just by replacing the source in the Finder.
