IFC repair

I am working on coordinating with our consultants on a project and utlilizing IFC as the go-between for ArchiCAD and Revit. I was wondering if anyone knew of a sofware package that "repairs" IFC files. I have solibri and the exports from Revit look fine there, but Archicad opens revits IFC files with errors, and Revit opens ArchiCAD's files with errors.

The project is running in 13, but I have 14 and the results are the same.
Thanks

In ArchiCAD, there are columns that are set with a height of 0, so effectively making them missing. Solibri shows them with the correct height.

I am also now running into the problem that different flavors of Revit are importing the IFC file better than others. It seems that Architecture opens the best, Structure leaving out some interior partitions and doors.

Which IFC file type are you using and which one are they using ?
Which of the 3 Solibri products are you checking he model with?

ArchiCAD 25 7000 USA - Windows 10 Pro 64x - Dell 7720 64 GB 2400MHz ECC - Xeon E3 1535M v6 4.20GHz - (2) 1TB M.2 PCIe Class 50 SSD's - 17.3" UHD IPS (3840x2160) - Nvidia Quadro P5000 16GB GDDR5 - Maxwell Studio/Render 5.2.1.49- Multilight 2 - Adobe Acrobat Pro - ArchiCAD 6 -25

Michael, which AC are you using for this?

In structural are the missing walls and doors have anything to do with the new IFC classification settings?

Michael,
Have you installed the Revit Add-In that comes with AC14?
It has a command you can run that processes the IFC file after opening and after saving it in Revit.
It works with Revit 2010 and 2011.

Steve: I am using IFC 2x3 and Solibri Model Checker but in Viewer mode v 5.1(waiting for a new liscense file... subscription ran out a few days ago)

Erica: It is ArchiCAD 13. The project was started on 11, put on hold, and then brought back to 13. We just finished up DD on the project and haven't had time to assing Structural on Non-Structural to any elements so they have neither designation. It is a core and shell project, so the partitions are just the core. Some of them import, and some of them don't. None of them are catergorized so that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Laszlo: I did install the Add-In. It didn't help with the missing elements though. The structural grid did come through though.

Michael,
What happens if you select just the items that go missing, save those as and IFC file and then bring it back into AC?

Are there any commonalities such as there are like elements on occupying the same space but on other layers?
Are targets of SEO operations?
Do you have any O height stories?
Is it always the same set of elements that go missing?

Are the missing walls non-standard in some manner such as use a custom profile?

What does GS say?
