MEP Issue - How to Connect Terminator with the Duct

Not applicable
Are there suitable method for connecting terminator with the duct.

Method A :(Show in Pic. A)
1. Place the duct, and the terminator.
2. Manually connect the terminator's diamond with the duct's diamond(Fail)
Problem: Not actually connect because the duct could not automatically extend while vertically move the terminator

Method B: (Show in Pic. B)
1. Place the duct, and the terminator.
2. Routing the existing duct to the terminator(Fail)
Problem: Receive an warning "Cannot connect, because connection types are different.

Both the terminator and duct belongs to the same MEP system and layer. Any correct method of connecting them?

Either Drag the Terminator to the Duct (Duct end is in correct location) or Move Node of Duct to Terminator (Terminator is in correct location).

I've only done plumbing so far but I assume the ducts are similar. The error you are getting indicates there is a difference in the settings details between the duct and the terminal. In plumbing this could be a flange on one and none on the other and they are also sensitive to the sizes matching properly.

The layer has nothing to do with it. The system type is only really a color coded category. Being of the same type is no assurance that they fit together.

To ensure the same connection type is the solution ! Thanks a lot!
