--> Whats the best way for me to treat the received files from an engineer ?

- do i place them in my file basically in AC or in a folder for everyone to access ?

- is there any kind of dynamic link created when I place them so others will also be able to have them appear in the file when opened by colleagues ?

- Is there a way of linking these files in AC so i can then delete the version on my C drive

What kind of 3D model ? Structure, MEP, etc.
What kind of file ? PLN, IFC, RVT, etc.

Did you try to link this 3D model by "Place Hotlink Module..." into "External content" ?

I have a .pln and an ifc from the engineer.

Atfonit,

You are able to link these files as modules to update them when you need.
But it might be better to collaborate with BIMcloud !
