Schedule zones apartment building

Hi,
I'm a newby on using Archicad, but it find it a powerful tool. As many, I'm coming from AutoCAD.
I'm stucked in scheduling zones, and maybe you could help me:
I have a building of 12 apartments, and I want to schedule each zone of the apartments (ex. kitchen, bedroom, etc) grouped and summed for each individual apartment.
Which is the best way to achieve it? Create a category for each apartment unit? Give an apartment ID and name at every Zone?
I don't know which is the best way, and any help would be great,
Thanks a lot!

Create a Property for the Apartment number. Every zone in an Apartment is assigned the apartment number. Then on your schedule, group your zones by the apartment number.

Thanks karl for your reply.
I'll give it a try, I think I can get the property working. The most difficult part will be grouping the zones.
Once I have tested, I'll post here my experience,
Thanks again,

Have managed to do it? I am running into the same problem. I found "Apartment ID" option under zone stamp, however I do not know how to connect a value to that property, and I can not find it in the property manager.
