Schedules and mod files

I have done a search and nothing seems to come up. I have also searched the help section of the book, so here it goes...

If I link my .mod files to my .pln file, will my schedules, in my .pln, see my doors/windows etc. which are within a .mod file(s)?

Seems like it should work...but we can not seem to get it to work?

Any comments?

Thanks,

Elements within hotlinked .mods should schedule exactly as local elements. For some reason you can include/exclude hotlinks from Find&Select but you cannot from Schedules even if you want to, at least in 11. So I would guess there is some problem with your schedule settings.

Does your schedule work if (you make a test copy of your file and) break your hotlink --select the hotlinked module, File>External Content>Hotlinked Module Settings, check "Break hotlink of selected modules"?
