Skylight in window schedule??

Stress Co_

Is it possible to put a skylight in a window schedule?

I don't see skylights listed in "element types".

I think Archicad considers a Skylight to be just an object for Scheduling purposes.

OK, I've added objects to my element types..... and I see my skylight... but also every object in the model. Is there an easy way to narrow the criteria?

You could Put it on a specific layer and add that layer to the criteria.

You can also do "Object Name includes Skylight" as a search criteria.

Tom/Jeremy:

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I've concluded that it's easier to create a separate schedule for the skylights (Objects), than try to make the parameters fit the window schedule.

One bummer.... as objects... there is no place to input "Notes" for the object ... unless someone knows otherwise?

I'm thinking now..... if I don't have too many skylights... it maybe even easier to just draw the schedule.... as I can't get the skylight schedule to update the plan "objects". Make sense?

Thanks again,
Marc

I have always found this intrigueing as well. I have noticed that most of the other elements in the library have a location for notes in the parameters but some don't. I would like to see this in all elements.
