dwg import in 9 - Functionality reduced?

Anonymous
Not applicable
It seems that the Import paper space with viewport contents option has been removed from the dwg import options in ArchiCAD 9. The option does exist in the new Plotmaker, but that's not much help.
I have always found this very useful for overlaying consultants' drawings to check against our own. As they often have information in both model space and paper space, it is no use importing one or the other.
This seems like a backwards step to me.
Have I missed something? Is there another way to import a complete dwg drawing into ArchiCAD 9?

yeah - that confused me for a while. i kept reporting it as a bug back in beta.

if i recall correctly, there is "small" bug in paperspace importing that places the entire contents of paperspace into a completely different storey in archiCAD.

try a few different open options and check the storey info in archiCAD each time . . . sorry i can't be more specific - i'm running on my rather small memory chips at the moment!
