About model and data exchange with 3rd party solutions: Revit, Solibri, dRofus, Bluebeam, structural analysis solutions, and IFC, BCF and DXF/DWG-based exchange, etc.
hey all, i must be missing something here, but i can't find out how to save the whole file as a DWG. views and layouts no problem, but i need to share the project with another trade and he want's to be able to interact with it and i just can't find any info on this. obviously i'm not wording my searches correctly.

I am not sure I understood your request. If your aim is to export a 3D DWG you are able to do this since a 3D view by "vectorial engine" instead of openGL.

You should try Christophe's suggestion. I assume when you say the other trade wants to interact with the DWG file, it means that they need a 3D DWG which they can edit.
You can save a 3D DWG file from the 3D Viewpoint, just as Christophe suggested.
