fraction dimensions for thickness

Is there a way to get the thickness parameter in door / window schedule to show fractional dimensions. Width and height , sill dimensions display fractional OK.

Hi Steve,
Driving me crazy not finding where to change settings to get fractional dimensions.

The schedule shown is the default NCS Door Frame Sch.

Di you try Options-Project Preferences - Dimensions - Window/Door Dimnesions (6th button from the left)

This could be it.

Check this out. When I change the Project Preferences for Door/Window dimensions it only displays the new setting ( mm ) when that door is selected in the schedule. If I don't have it selected it will revert back to inches.

There must be some better place to chanage this setting.

Did you look to see if there is a parameter for jamb thickness in any of the Additional Parameters for the windows you have in the schedule?

Not all windows have the same parameters. Sometimes when I need to add some code to an abject I find one that has the gdl script for the parameter I want and copy if from one and paste it in the other to get what I need. Perhaps you can find one of these windows that does have a parameter you could add to your schedule. ?

Also, when your looking for the jamb thickness parameter to add from the list of Additional Parameters it could be called something different like Frame width, or something. You can change the name of it in the schedule to be what ever you want to call it. Just make sure it is the paramater you want to have in the schedule.

What window are you using in the schedule ?

I have a mixture of windows in this schedule. D/H casement and awning. I am going to have to dig around and spend some time with this. I have been using just a basic schedule and not taking advantage of customization. I will look around more into parameters.
