masterformat classification

Is there any chance to have a preset masterformat classification?
Is it possible to create custom rules for classification?

does anyone know the syntax how to give a ifcproperty set a value?
In other words I need to know how to assign a string value, for example "demo" to my property set ALMA - Spec.

In this way it would be possible to assign specifications, choosing by a preset list ... It would be great.

At the moment the classifications does not distinguish the type so every numbers can be associated to every item in the model.

Can I share it? Moderators, please advice about it.
This is a question I cannot answer right now. I will have to ask someone at GRAPHISOFT.

I went to the masterformat.com web page and checked the following document (which actually lists all numbers and titles included in Masterformat):

http://www.csinet.org/Home-Page-Category/Formats/MasterFormat/About-MF/MasterFormat-2014-Numbers-Tit...

On Page 1 it says:
For information about licensing use of MasterFormat for commercial or educational purposes, contact CSI at http://www.csinet.org/, csi@csinet.org or by calling 800-689-2900.
ARCHICAD has multiple standard Rule sets included such as Omniclass, Uniclass, etc. I don't know if GRAPHISOFT has to pay for the right to use these in ARCHICAD or not.
And I also don't know if such sharing the XML file (done by a user, not done by GRAPHISOFT) so anyone could use Masterformat in ARCHICAD constitutes commercial purposes or not.
So this is delicate matter which I will have to ask from GRAPHISOFT. I hope they will be able to answer.
Until then, please do not post the XML file on the Forum.

I got work back from GRAPHISOFT.
Please do no post the XML.

GRAPHISOFT will investigate the possibility of including Masterformat in future versions of ARCHICAD.

I am happy to report that both Uniformat and Masterformat (2016 edition) are now incorporated into ARCHICAD 20.
