schedule dimension preference

In the door schedule we are using Version 11 the door thickness is showing up as 0'-1 3/4" what we want it to show is 1 3/4" without the zero feet in front of it, as there are no doors thicker than a foot. Anyway, we have tried to change the preferences in our document but that doesn't seem to effect the schedule at all. I don't get it. Any ideas?

There is no way to control this without custom [GDL] programming, RE: see this post to vote
