I finally figured something out I thought I would pass along.. I think it is correct. I big issue for me working in AC11 (beta) was maintaining the external links with the PLN file all my details are in. This was an issue in AC10, but seemed to have been fixed at some point. No matter what, the links would go back to "needs checking" at some point (manual updating selected). I still think it is a bug (but never got labeled a bug in testing), but the external file needs to be saved in the same AC version.. both in AC11. If the external file is in AC10, and the working file is in AC11, then the linking will not function properly. So, you'll need two versions of the external file should you still need to work in AC10 and connect to that file. Many of us use an external file for details, so this is a issue that needs to be handled properly.
