Curtain Wall Door Symbol weirdly distorted

I added a door to the curtain wall shown below and for some reason I had to tell it the "Up direction" was 270 degrees to get the hinge position to the correct side. All looked fine in 3d but when I got to the 2d the door swing is stretched weirdly.

Any ideas how to fix it?

I remember seeing this problem even back in AC12-13 with Curtain Walls.
Unfortunately I cannot remember whether I could solve it or not.
But I think it is definitely related to the fact that you rotated the Door in the Curtain Wall panel.
I will report this to GRAPHISOFT.

Does it help to use the 'side hung mirrored' option in the door's settings to get the hinges on the other side, rather than flipping the door upside down?

(I presume there is something similar in AC19!)

I tried that but sadly no. I get the feeling that something is up with the Curtain Wall because on initial insertion of the door it was displaying as a bottom hung window. I then altered the "Top Direction" to get the door to display correctly.

Other weird thing is the preview of the Door in the settings has the door rotated through 90 degrees (see screenshot below)
