Material vs composite

Polar Bear
Contributor

Hello,

When we set up a composites and we need to add / modify material, we need to close the composites window and open the material, do the changes and come back to composites.  In revit, all of that can be done in one windows.  Are there tricks to do that same easy and fast process?

Thanks

Unfortunately that is the way to do it.

If you have a sample of the wall selected when you open the Building Material settings, you will find that the BM's used are high lighted in the list.

There has been a wish for this around for a few years, being able to open the Surface Editor, Build Material Editor and Composite Editor without closing the previous, as well as being able to jump straight to the relevant surface or building material in their respective windows.
