tool bars - management

Not sure how to explain but as a new user I am having a hard time making computers match and getting toolbars organized

First is that the selection box disappears every time I place one so very slow. Would like a dialog to hold toolbars by name or even better by design. For selection or drag and drop

It would be nice to see a name for the toolbar by selecting it or some other manner. If I see a tool bar i like on one machine, I'd like to know its name.

How about a way also to transfer a setup to another user?

You could export the workspace from a computer you have setup then import it onto the others

Options => Work Environment => Work Environment = > Work Environment Profiles => [Relevant Profile] => Export

If the toolbar is "undocked" and you hover your cursor over the bottom left edge, an arrow should appear. Drag it down to expand the toolbar and you can see it's name.

We are all talking Archicad.
The image Marc has shown you is the MAC version (dark mode by the looks of it).
In the Windows version I am not seeing the dialogue names either - yes it does make it a little tricky.

But as for co-ordination - you do not need to set each machine up separately.
Get one working the way you want.
The save the Work Environment as your 'Office Standard WE'.
Now you can export that and import it to any other machine.
Apply the profile and set it as the default profile on the new machine and it will be exactly the same as the original.
No need to know what the toolbar names are at all really.

Thank-you very much - just needed the hint for setting up my personal machines for my use.
That by itself is helpful.

I am also helping my Engineers migrate, if they don't I may have to go backwards. That is why I needed the names as it is painful if you don't have those names. Even a screen shot does not help. I would love a hover bubble over the menu

This screenshot won't help you very much as it is my own personal setup.
But in the WINDOWS menu you can see which toolbars and palettes are turned on.
It won't help you identify which ones they are unless you switch them on/off to see which one is which.
