License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

3D Document dimensions

I have an Axonometric view of a component isolated in a 3D document. I can't dimension the length of an inclined edge. Is this a known limitation of 3D documents or am I missing a trick?

It can be done.
Place a horizontal dimension and then re-align it.

i played some time with the dimension tool but i couldnt make it happen either. i think it is a limitation. cause if you make an 3Ddoc which is not an "elevation" you can grab the dimension. it seems the dimension tool needs to be referenced to the face of the inclined element.

in the "elevation" it seem the dimension is only working in x or y direction.

Both screenshots are from an axonometric 3Ddocs.

Thanks for the replies.

Barry - In relation to all the other dimensioning options, the pet pallet was the last place I was looking for a solution. Not the most user friendly method of dimensioning, but now I know there is a way. Thank you.
