SOLVED!

3D Document produces object 53.7 times larger than model size

I often make 3D documents from 3D views, so I can add 2D annotation. No big deal -lots of success in the past.

Today, I created a 3D view of an object that measures 24" x 30" x 10". After creating the 3D doc, the first thing I do is measure the object, and the 24" side now measures 104'-7 3/4". What's going on? This is ArchiCAD 27.

If you save from a perspective window, it will not be to scale.

Save from an axonometric 3D view and it should be.

Can you post screenshots that show those measurements in 3D and in the 3D Document Viewpoint?

See video screenshot below. The ratio between starting size and 3D Doc size is different today!

Yeah, the measuring tool will show a random size for the perspective 3D Doc, but if you place a dimension on it, it should still show you the correct size.
