I looked for the renovation tag related to the camera but couldn't find it. Is there some setting that I haven't found yet?
Thanks,

Renovation Status does NOT flow thru from Plan window to 3d Window...
But you can simply CHANGE the filter once you're in the 3d Window.. I am not sure that you can make it stick without creating a VIEW or 3d document and a view..
Though the 3d renovation filter should not change again until you change it in the 3d window (meaning... changing it in the plan window will not affect the 3d window)
