Can't select drawings in layouts all of a sudden

Working on a project, all of a sudden I realized that the only way I can select a drawing within a layout is by pressing CMD-A or by clicking the two diagonally opposite corners of a frame big enough to include the particular drawing.

Even then, I can't resize/move the drawing. By mouse or keyboard shortcuts.

All I am allowed to do is press Delete and lose the drawing.

Bug is for all drawings in all layouts. Happened all of a sudden.

I did a New & Reset All, things are ok. When I load my project it's haywire again.

Any way I can get out of this? Thanks guys.

Alex:

When this has come up on the forum before, the problem is usually that the Grid Snap has been turned on, in some Work Environments this is controlled by hitting the "s" key.
