Cannot change printers

I have a problem where i cannot print on our large format printer. If i go to page setup and select the printer, it changes back to the default windows printer as soon as i close the window. Does the same thing in the actual print window too.

This just started happening. It worked fine last week. Any ideas?

To clarify, starting today, AC11 will only let me print to the default windows printer, using the default windows settings.

I set my large format printer as the default with the settings i need, and i was able to print. This is unsatisfactory however, because the regular document printer should be the default windows printer.
