Copy and paste text in text box dont work

Hello,
We have the following problem in Archicad 23.

When I try to copy text in a text box and then paste it in the same or another text box, nothing gets pasted.
Copying and pasting the entire text field works, as does copying and pasting all objects and elements.
In newer versions of Archicad, it worked for us to restart the program, but not here.

Does anyone have any advice?

What version of Archicad are you using?

That was version 23 mentioned before, and if there was a problem in that version, it will never be fixed now - too old.

Hi, my problem was on Archicad 27, but I discovered that copy/paste works with ctrl+shift+c  /ctrl+shift+v  and today  ctrl+c/ctrl+v work again. I don't undestand why but it solved itself, so all good now

Maybe a bug in your text formatting which resolved on restarting. Though the two commands you have listed kind of contradict each other... copy with formatting and paste as plain text... Assume ctrl+shift+c in not using the Windows default and has a modified function in AC.

Having the same issue now. AC28 ctrl+shift does work, but how can you make it back to the original formatting?  Thanks

That's both ctrl + shift copy and paste? Or just one of them? What happens if you just to Copy with Formatting but do a standard Paste?

I have a user with this exact same problem.

Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V does not work inside text box - Archicad 27, latest update.

Ctrl+Shift+C/V works fine.

Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+Shift+V does not yield anything since apparently Ctrl+C failed.

Very very odd...

I always use the right click on the mouse and then select copy, and the same to paste because of that
