Custom grid for master layout

cocoloco
Expert

Hi! Is there a way to create a custom grid for master layout or it is just what it is? I want to create grids for different scales, and not just regular look window, need one irregular. TY!

I think Cocoloco may be talking about the grid in the master layouts used to automatically arrange drawings as you place them?

I don't know any other settings other than these, but it just seems to be a simple grid and not very customisable.

And layouts don't have scales, it is the drawings you place that have the scale.

Some options to consider. 1) Customization within the user interface of the window dialogue. 2) Use a Curtain Wall as a window to create a custom grid. 3) GDL script editing of an existing window in the library. 4) CI tools window builder (This is what I would typically use)

Would you mind to share printscreen please? I thought it would be much easier, its just lines in layout to separate new views? Feeling discouraged 😒

Oh yes this! I actually like how archicad has there in that setting illustration as you have the one big grid with small around it, but then I clicked on it and it looks just all small. So I thought about customizing the grid so I am able to add a lil larger scale per needs.

Not a big deal if its not possible but bummer a bit

Haha I was wondering that it must be very special grid with all the whistles & bells tools 😂
