EXTERNAL DRAWING MANAGEMENT IN LAYOUTBOOK

HI

I'M WORKING ON CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS AND I'M HAVING A PROBLEM THATS DRIVING ME CRAZY.
I'VE MADE SOME DETAIL IN ANOTHER FILES AND IMPORTED THE VIEWS TO THE LAYOUTBOOK OF THE PROJECT FILE.
THE PROBLEM ITS THAT WHEN I WANT TO UPDATE THE DETAILS THE PROGRAM OPENS THE FILE WERE THE DETAILS WERE MADE.
I WONDER IF THERES IS ANOTHER WAY TO UPDATE/MANAGE THESE "EXTERNAL" VIEWS WITHOUT OPENING THE FILES.

Hi.
well there is always different ways to do it.

1. try to update the drawings from the Drawing Manager, various (ou muitos) at the same time. it can save you some time.
2. If it keeps opening the external view in a new instance, try to open the original file, at the same time you have open the layout book. in this way it updates the drawings faster.
3. Sometimes there is a difference between "relative path" and "absolute path" when you link the external views... check it, compare those two, maybe you can find something new.

Please come back with your solution... i haven't solve the problem at 100%

Cheers !
